Retail automotive businesses employ over 14,000 people in NH and represent 24% of the state’s retail sales. As you may already know, Governor Sununu declared automotive sales and service as essential because they keep the roadways safe and maintain the vehicles of essential workers, including the medical professionals and first responders on the front lines. In short, NHADA members keep NH running.
- 92% of our members have already instituted six-foot social distancing rules
- 65% have limited the number of customers in their businesses
- 95% have instituted daily and frequent cleaning of surfaces and have hand sanitizers and wipes widely available.
During these uncertain times it is often easy to panic. However, the NHADA is an excellent resource to access information and find products that will help keep you and your business COVID-safe. With the safety of your business and public in mind, we've has created the following resource:
At the request of both elected officials and citizens, we have built a live listing of NHADA members who provide both contactless service and/or inspections and are offering pickup and drop off. View List Here
A few examples of how businesses have adapted include Service-From-Home programs that pick up a customer’s vehicle from their home and return it fully sanitized.
Others have implemented Drop-and-Go programs where customers leave their vehicle in the parking lot and the car undergoes pre and post service sanitization. No in-person contact and no entering a building.
In addition to providing a live listing of Covid-safe locations, our Products Division is also sourcing items to help keep your motor vehicle businesses safe. From Hand Sanitizer by the gallon to Face Masks and protective "InteliShields", we have a growing selection of safety items.
