Snow removal and storm clean-up days pose significant challenges for NHADA member locations. The relentless wind and freezing temperatures that accompany snowstorms, combined with the physically demanding task of clearing snow, create tough conditions for the staff. Unfortunately, these winter storms frequently result in a substantial number of employee injuries.
How can you make the best of the cold, winter weather? Have a little fun by participating in the NHADA Winter Weather Safety Contest!

The storm team at Monadnock Ford in Swanzey, NH were awarded the grand prize last year for their numerous entries and outstanding participation from all departments to thoroughly clean their lot storm after storm.
As a result, they were rewarded with custom branded thermoses, courtesy of LotDrop Dealership Supplies, and a delicious catered lunch!
This contest aims to raise awareness of winter hazards and document the extensive efforts made by NHADA members to keep people safe. At the end of the season, the member with the best entries wins the grand prize. Make sure your team is rewarded for the next weather event by sending in pictures of their efforts!
How do you participate?
- Review our Winter Weather Safety Guide.
- Share photos of your team using the contest web page taking proper safety measures (or email them to safety@nhada.com).
- EVERY entry wins a prize: gift cards, NHADA apparel/swag, snow rakes, etc.
- The GRAND PRIZE winners receive a company lunch catered by NHADA at your location!
A few of our past contest winners include Tri-City Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM, Tulley Automotive Group, Manchester Collision Center, Quirk Automotive Group, Troy Powersports, Nucar Automall of Tilton, and New England Kenworth of Londonderry.
When winter storms occur, we highly recommend that our members participate in order to document the incredible efforts they put in to ensure the safety of their employees and customers. This also allows us to recognize and reward those hardworking employees who make it all happen!
