Effective July 14, 2025, OSHA is expanding its penalty reductions for small and mid-sized employers. Combined with NHADA’s in-house loss prevention program, this change gives members a clear path to minimizing risk and cutting costs.

Up to 70% Off Penalties: Now available to employers with up to 25 employees (previously limited to 10).

Discounts for Mid-Sized Businesses: 30% off for 26–100 employees, and 10% for 101–250 employees.

15% Bonus for employers who fix hazards quickly.

20% Reduction for businesses with a clean OSHA record over the past 5 years.
These reductions can stack—bringing total reductions to as much as 90%.
