FTC Warning: Potential Violations of Review & Testimonials Rule
On December 22, 2025, the FTC sent letters to 10 companies warning them of potential violations of the Consumer Reviews and Testimonials Rule that took effect on October 21, 2024. The FTC did not disclose which companies received the letter.

NADA developed Frequently Asked Questions to help dealerships comply with the Rule. Dealers should continue reviewing the FAQs and the Rule with their employees.
