Are You Taking Advantage of the NH DES Used Oil Grant Program?
New Hampshire businesses and municipalities may be eligible for funding through the NH Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) Used Oil Collection Grant Program. This program supports the creation and maintenance of used oil collection centers that serve individuals who change their own motor oil (DIY-ers), helping ensure proper handling and recycling of used oil.
Grants of up to $2,500 per applicant are available annually, with up to $5,000 for centers that serve multiple communities. Eligible applicants include municipalities, counties, solid waste districts, nonprofit organizations focused on waste management, and registered motor vehicle inspection stations.
