Four Reasons To Train Your Staff

Spring time also means seminar time.

As we kickoff April, there are many seminars to send your staff to—some of which are right around the corner.

On the fence about training with NHADA? There are many benefits to sending your staff to our seminars, for one, it's local!

  1. LOCAL: NHADA provides education and training to its members and their employees at our centrally located office in Bow/Concord – no traveling out-of-state.
  2. INDUSTRY-SPECIFIC: NHADA sessions focus on issues directly related to your needs. You will not be listening to information that is not applicable to our unique industry.
  3. COMPLIANCE-FOCUSED: Many NHADA sessions focus on important compliance and legal issues.
  4. AFFORDABLE: NHADA provides cost-effective training, and information that may save you money.

Hazardous Materials Three-Year Certification Training

(Automotive Specific)

SHIPPERS/RECEIVERS NEED TO BE CERTIFIED!

In automotive-related businesses, you may have employees who prepare hazardous materials, such as car batteries, air bags, degreaser or paints for shipment to other facilities or wholesale accounts. Your employees may also receive these products or transport them from distribution facilities, provide delivery services to off-site facilities or to customers.

If your company is involved in any of these activities, your business is required to provide adequate, documented training that meets all the requirements specified in 172.704 (HM-126-F). Recertification is required at least once every three years. The three-year period begins on the actual date of training.
