3 Littleton Students Receive Automotive Technology Scholarships

Littleton, NH—Aidan Vielleux, Casey Gooden and Kyle Norris are all seniors at the Hugh J. Gallen Career & Technical Center and have been named recipients of an NHADA Foundation Automotive Technology Scholarship for $1,500.00 each.

“Aiden has demonstrated a level of commitment necessary to succeed in college and beyond.  He takes his work seriously and seeks out assistance as necessary in order to complete projects in the shop setting with accuracy.”  Aiden will be attending White Mountains Community College in the fall.

“Casey has demonstrated that he is a reliable and responsible individual.  He brings a positive can-do, will-do attitude to the shop and classroom.  Casey takes initiative in the shop setting on a regular basis to assist other students.  As an automotive student, Casey has demonstrated that he has an aptitude for the discipline.  I am certain that Casey will be an asset to the automotive industry in the future working as a technician.”

“Kyle always arrives on time, is prepared for class with a positive attitude and ready to learn.  Kyle has taken the initiative to seek out an internship at Beech Hill Automotive, and has been successful working in that capacity, showing his willingness to work hard to become competent.  Kyle will be attending Lakes Region Community College this fall.”

The hard work that these students have put in all year hasn't gone unnoticed. They have been recognized by their school and the NHADA, who awarded them these scholarships. In addition to that, Mike Kopp of North Country Motors had a few words to say about these promising students:

“It was great to be able to recognize and reward these guys who have worked so hard to be part of our industry. I’m always encouraged when I meet these students face to face. It makes me feel good about the future of our industry.”
