What to expect during an inspection?
The inspection will begin with making sure all your paperwork is in place. Review the items below to help in preparation for your inspection.
- Do you have a Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plan? Is the plan up to date?
- Have your registered ASTs alarms been tested annually by a certified inspection company?
- Have the alarm testing documents been uploaded to “One-Stop” (New Hampshire's central, searchable online database for environmental data, documents, permits, and reports)?
- Are monthly inspections of ASTs being performed and documented internally?
Following checking on all paperwork, a physical inspection of your registered ASTs for labeling, condition, proximity to drains, etc. will take place. The scope of the inspection will focus on all petroleum products and storage.
