You've helped us grade the auto insurers in the past; now it's time to refresh your gradebook.
Each year, more than 1,000 collision repair professionals like you help us let insurance companies - and more importantly, consumers - know which insurers best demonstrate a commitment to quality repairs and customer service, and which ones have some room for improvement.
This year’s Insurer Report Card has just launched, and it's your chance as a collision repair professional to grade the claims handling performance of auto insurers in your state.
As in the past, we're not just focusing on the Top 10 national insurers. You'll also be grading some of the smaller or regional carriers in your state as well. Nationally, we'll be collecting data on more than 100 different insurers.
This gives the industry a chance to help make consumers aware that there are many choices available when insuring their vehicle, and to show them how those choices stack up.
You’ll be grading insurers from an ‘A+’ to an ‘F’ based on how well each insurer's claims practices help contribute toward quality repairs and customer service for drivers in your state.
Open only to collision repairers, the Insurer Report Card can be completed in under 3 minutes (though you may also choose to spend a little more time explaining the grades you assigned), and all your grades, comments and personal information will remain absolutely confidential.
Any shop owner, manager or estimator with current experience interacting with insurers on a regular basis can complete the Insurer Report Card. Only one response per shop location. Shops that provide optional contact information will receive the results once they are compiled.
If you have any questions, just click here to email us. And please forward this email on to other shops.
Thanks for participating!
