The Alosa Family Keeps On Trucking…

New England Kenworth and The Patsy's Companies Celebrate 100th

The team at New England Kenworth and The Patsy's Companies marked their 100th year in business throughout 2017 with various events at seven of their eight locations in New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont. The culmination of the year-long celebration will be held in mid-October for an 'employee only' event, to thank all of their employees who have worked together to achieve this rare achievement in today's business climate.

This year, the company has turned back the pages over the past 100 years to unfold how an Italian immigrant named Pasquale (Patsy) came to this country in 1912 in search of the American Dream. In 1917 he set up shop in Concord as a mechanic after having worked on military vehicles in WWI, and he only knew two words in English…"Patsy Fix!" That's the only way he knew how to answer the phone.

In 1960 his son Joseph R. Alosa, Sr. (Joe) took over the business and has grown what once was a little repair shop, into a multiple roof top, authorized Kenworth Truck Dealership Group encompassing three states. Daughters Denise Alosa and MaryBeth Alosa are currently running operations in Vermont and New Hampshire respectively. Additionally, three of Joe & Carol's grandchildren have officially joined the company, making four generations of Alosa's hard at work in the trucking industry.

"The past 100 years have been hugely successful for us," says Joe, "and a great deal of that success comes directly from our dedicated customers and hard-working employees. We are also honored to become a part of the local communities where each dealership is based.

"We've had the pleasure of working with and meeting many people in our area over the years and look forward to continuing to build on these relationships in the future".
