NHADA Foundation Announces Top 10 Competition Schools

Last week, the NHADA Foundation handed out just under $10,000 in scholarships to the top 3 schools in the NHADA Road To Nationals Auto Tech Written Exam. Not only did these students earn financial support, they also punched their ticket to the New Hampshire Auto Tech State Championship on January 11th at Lakes Region Community College. 

At the competition last year, Portsmouth High School finished first in the state and went on to compete at Nationals where they placed 7th.

This year, the top 10 teams are:

1. Nashua High School North

Students Names: Logan Pettus ($2,000) and Jose Avalos ($2,000)
Instructor Name: Jason Smith

2. Concord Regional Technical Center

Students Names: Colby DeRoche ($1,500) and Evan Bartz ($1,500)
Instructor Names: Scott Mayotte and Jesse Gregoire

3. Portsmouth High School

Students Names: Damien Moody ($1,000) and Simon Faulkner ($1,000)
Instructor Name: Dave Lilly

5. Salem High School
Students: Lyle Smith and Gunner Adyns

6. Wolfeboro (Kingswood Lakes Region Technical Center)
